SO beautiful. I'm really damned glad that you're still up to your usual antics. The world is a better place with a healthy coating of aardvark butter.

The animation is much more fluid, precise, and the sound effects are more appropriate to the actions occurring in the flash. Your style hasn't changed much (thank heavens), which is a relief, but everything else is much improved. Quite the show.

Similarly to Ape and Essence, a nuclear holocaust destroys (most of) the human race...; I'm not quite sure why, but I really like that preface. Anyhow, the whole idea of nuclear energy and copious amounts of waste that are relatively without expiration is a very endearing post-apocalyptic tale. I really liked the animation on this one; I thought it was above par in comparison to most clock animations.

RadioTubeClock responds:

Thanks for the review! I thought it would be interesting to make a flash where the clocks are humanity's successors, as opposed to simply having them stand in for them.

The video was bearable, but only because of the quality of the animation. The story itself was disappointingly rough and frustratingly obvious at times; the constant narration (mainly because it pertained to the obvious, rather than the esoteric religious context of the story), was bland, vapid, and largely extraneous. The scene where the princess answers the door, because she noticed the knocking was coming from said door, should have been completely scrapped for being so painfully obvious; not to mention pointless if you already have the animation portraying all of this. Overall, the mildly aesthetic flash, in conjunction with the pitifully juvenile story, was mediocre at best.

thanks for the review! :)

What a pleasant compilation...

Honestly, I found it a bit lacking in closure. Still, the animation (provided in part by one of my favorite macabre artists) was quite well done (certainly enough to keep me watching it). Still, I would have preferred an alternate ending. If you'd like an example, I've included one below.

I really liked most of the film, actually. I'm quite the connoisseur of unabated creativity, and this flash most certainly had its fair share of that. I was, however, a little off-put by the fact that you overlooked a lot of potential symbolism (in that your flash was based around tapeworms). To me, tapeworms symbolize a lot of things (namely humanity's parasitic relationship with the world around it). That said, I would have had the tapeworms take over the government and broadcast commercials about ludicrous worm-based consumer goods. I'd then show stores filled with worm-based clothing, food, video games, etc.; a shot of children clamoring at store windows; something blazes across the sky; then a shot of a morbidly obese tapeworm dressed in what could only be adequately described as 'Santa' attire in a sleigh being pulled by eight tapeworms and a functionally retarded tapeworm with a glowing nose; said 'tapeworm Santa' proceeds to rocket through the air and sends out more tapeworms which proceed to travel down people's chimneys; show a shot of said tapeworms crawling down people's chimneys and vomiting presents; children opening the presents; one kid gets a jack-in-the box, winds it up, and a tapeworm pops out and devours him; then shots of the kids going insane and tapeworms flying out of every conceivable orifice; then a shot of children in third-world countries opening worm-based presents and being devoured; then a panning shot of worms devouring entire cities; then a shot of continents slowly being engulfed by worms; then a shot of a t-bone steak (or whatever random thing comes to mind in order to signify the attention span of anyone watching the video and attempting to perceive any sort of message).

Hope you liked my idea (or at least thought it was funny). Keep up the good work.

I liked it, I wanted everyone to have as much freedom as they wanted, And just do whatever came to mind, Thanks for the review glad you like it. ;)

KILL EVERY LIVING THING THAT MOVES

sounds a bit vague, lol... But what about the laws of robots though? :C
Really liked the flash, lyrics were cool, but I didin't like the singers :/

koit responds:

Oh poo flakes, singers were me. ;(

BUT... WHO WAS PHONE!?!

Definitely some nice /x/ material ya got there :3
Very original and well thought out. Kinda makes you think of Cleverbot for example. The flash animation wasn't all that detailed... (in comparison to the things you could have done with the limited movements), but it was good enough, in my opinion, to make front page. Anyway, really liked the story, I should tell it to people around a campfire or something xD Even scarier was that you used Newgrounds' ad spot, nice touch :D

Jimtopia responds:

If you actually write out a campfire version of this story, drop me a PM, I'd love to read it! Also, thanks for the review.

I'm totally playing polybus now.

This is insane though, my computer's lagging like nuts xD

TheBoogley responds:

yeah, the combination of three layer blends, shapetweened masks, shapetweened blobs, and 30fps frame by frame morphing requires a pretty powerful computer. It lags on mine too :3

Awesomeness

Love how you had that elaborate plan thing, especially when you said you decided to have the string on the door but forgot to move the burrito xD I didn't entirely get that weird dream thing... maybe if it was funny or something at the end... interesting how you used dial-tone sounds or whatever... anyway, overall it was awesome and I liked the animation style a lot.

Bobert-Rob responds:

Well, the dream sequence wasn't really intended to be funny, it was more of a random acid trip intermission. A creative break in the comedic action, y'know. Though I'm sure some people find it funny anyway, heh. I'm glad you liked this though!

OH GOD, THIS IS AMAAAAAAZING!!!

I bloody loved it! The animation was incredible, especially the character designs. Everything flowed really well with your art style.
I liked the jokes you threw in as well, like when the guy with "hip" written on his hat, has it turn to "shit" when the pumpkin guy's attacking (I remember seeing him somewhere before as well... not sure where... oh, and check out my pumpkin head drawing I think you'll like it xD).

Again, amazing flash, it seems a tad quick, but that goes with the song in a way, and besides, it's still fucking awesome!

lenkalamari responds:

lmao thanks. the pumpkinhead/jack o lantern is from rocket crotch so yeah you've probably seen him before

Awesome! :J

Nice simplicity, and the color effect works too. It was almost an Ideal kind of song too. xD

TheBoogley responds:

almost ideal... almost

Old NG rat. Much love.
