I like it.

Honestly, I feel like there's something missing, but, if you're satisfied, it's pretty good as is. There's a lot of color in this; I appreciate the abrupt juxtaposition of the gradients, it makes it feel like a sky. Keep it up. :)

fun fact: this piece happened on accident

Amazing work...

I have to love the style and detail you put into this piece. Being a fan of pen and ink I can see the beauty in such a style. This piece also has something I usually neglect, a background; I think that really adds to it. You did this brilliantly. Great job! :D

Igmon responds:

Thanks man! I have actually started doing this with sketches, I have a lot that was just either a background or a character. It's tricky with a pen because it's hard to make sure the foreground is still prominent.

Tea time! :D

Awesome drawing as always, by the way. Gotta love the dark spirited themes throughout your works. This one in particular seems to blend both cartoon and realist art styles. I really think you combined the two rather well. The only criticism I have is that it's a bit too simple. That is, it could stand a little more steam or perhaps a bit more shading.

Luxembourg responds:

Always glad to hear from you, Hobo!
I agree concerning the simplicity. It could always do with a bit more, and by that I also mean that I could have populated the drawing a little more, as well.
I'm glad the blending between realism and stylism worked well, because I was worried the spirit and the kettle didn't mesh very well.
Thank you very much for the comment!

Wicked!

I love the use of color and the almost undersea vibe it gives off. The character you've portrayed, which is my favorite aspect of this drawing (not to say that the background isn't equally as stunning), is very dynamic. That is, the character very much has it's own anatomy and is, in that perspective, a believable figure. In turn, the background also adds to the reality of the drawing. Despite having thick, black, cartoony lines on your character (which are awesome, mind you), the drawing sustains a vague sense of reality.

The composition itself is entirely amazing. Overall, there are no major flaws (unless being mindbogglingly stunning an art piece would constitute as a flaw).

I've seen some of your work before and it is absolutely brilliant. Might I ask, what did you use to color this piece? It appears to me as if it were done in photoshop, but you've either done it so skillfully or perhaps it's that it's in a different medium, because there is no trace of the telltale digital brushstrokes that so remarkably denote the use of photoshop. In a sense I think that adds to the beauty of this piece as well. Anyways, I love your art. Cheerio!

Thanks for the lovely comment!
I use lots of custom made brushes and scanned traditional textures

This is absolutely beautiful!

The way you made the lines of light behind the dragon is a stunning effect! The background is simple but very colorful and I love your shading. Great job on this!

Amaruuk responds:

Thank you! :3

Hehe. This is cute!

I'm normally not that good at chibi for some reason, though this is pretty good. You seem to have kept the proportions and yet made it funny looking, which makes some of my favorite chibi. Nice work, miss! :D

catboymech responds:

Haha, I like chibis because they have such a wide range of being drawn, I mean, no two chibis are alike :> Thank you for the nice score!

Spectacularly disturbing!

I love immensely the use of gore and epic traditional medium. Not much else to say than I really like the style and use of color. Did you use paints for this?

dommi-fresh responds:

yepper water colours

Epic...

I fully support you in your endeavor to make this anthropomorphic walrus a superstar.

Squidbit responds:

I will make a cartoon of him someday! Just... I don't like working on stuff in front of people, and there's ALWAYS people around

Pikachu and link... Ah, the memories... :3

Sometimes I wish Pikachu could replace Navi...
Well, anyway, I scouted you, I hope everything gets resolved. I really like the giant pokeball by the way, it really adds a nice touch. :)

Syringes responds:

Thank you soooo much! I was so getting really sad cause I love submitting art to newgrounds. : D

XD I bet pikachu and link would go on the most epic adventures together too.

Thanks for the comment, AND scout. : D <333

Oh lawdy.

I really love your style. I'm assuming this is in pencil. Really nice clean work on this (or rather, intentional). Beautiful work. You are my hero.

dommi-fresh responds:
