Freaking amazing...
Love the art, and the physics and animations seem so immersive, great job! It's a bit frustrating at times too, but it's awesome when you can eventually predict the layout of the course and just bloody leg it without falling or anything as well. I took a year of mandarin though... so it's kind of hard to still hear people say stuff like ching chong. Regardless, I still get the humor, and the ninja warrior/unbeatable banzuke (robot guy and the announcer) overtones are pretty funny. The character design was really cool too, liked how it reminded me of tankmen :3

I liked how you used the kids journal as the exposition, it helps explain a lot of things in detail without seeming too awkward. Also, the characters are really cool, though I would have liked maybe one more, like a more serious one (It's fine if he doesn't really do much, just kind of there to help give the plot a crazy side and a stable side). The animation was also really good, I loved the crazy fight scene (the guards sounded like HL2 combines lol xD). This has a lot going for it, I hope you don't disappoint :J

"Powerful yet funny"

It's sort of a tragic comedy, like Shakespeare's plays in a way. It was sad but there was an element of comedic absurdity (I.e. the bunny wearing clown makeup and holding a red balloon). There's that and, though likely unintentional, the absurdity of a game boy breaking if it's hit by a football and falls on the grass. Also the names for the video games they were buying, space football marines likely was meant to allude to the high demand of games like gears of war and madden nfl.

Have to say though, I've seen a few other shorts and I really like the animation and art direction. The style is sort of reminiscent of a more realistic Scott Pilgrim. The humor isn't overpowering, but it's funny to the point where, when combined with the high level of animation, turns out very enjoyable.

I bloody loved it! The animation was incredible, especially the character designs. Everything flowed really well with your art style.
I liked the jokes you threw in as well, like when the guy with "hip" written on his hat, has it turn to "shit" when the pumpkin guy's attacking (I remember seeing him somewhere before as well... not sure where... oh, and check out my pumpkin head drawing I think you'll like it xD).

Again, amazing flash, it seems a tad quick, but that goes with the song in a way, and besides, it's still fucking awesome!

There was a bit of awkwardness with the fact that they're in love with... a star? However, the animation and graphic style were great and original, and I liked how much effort you put into this. Saturn is an awesome character design btw, I believe I saw your work on the art portal before.
